Job Description
- The Quality Assurance Professional is responsible for ensuring that all food handling, preparation, cooking, storage, and service activities comply with applicable food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
- The role safeguards customer health, maintains consistent product quality, and supports compliance with local authority food hygiene regulations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and local authority hygiene standards
- Prepare the shop for food hygiene inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly
- Investigate non-conformances and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Train staff on food hygiene, allergen awareness, cleaning standards, and safe food handling practices
- Monitor staff compliance with personal hygiene, uniform standards, and operational procedures
- Promote a strong food safety and quality culture within the team
- Oversee daily and periodic cleaning schedules for fryers, preparation areas, cold storage, and waste zones
- Investigate food quality or safety complaints and implement appropriate corrective actions
- Support management in reducing waste, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining consistent brand standards
