Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, articulate, and sales-savvy Venue Experience Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will attend site visits at various venues alongside potential clients, guiding them through the process of exploring event possibilities. While you won’t be responsible for closing deals, your strong communication, sales aptitude, and negotiation skills will be key in building rapport and ensuring a positive, informative experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement:
Attend scheduled site visits with potential clients to discuss venue options and event possibilities.
Build strong, professional relationships with clients by understanding their event requirements and providing tailored insights.
Venue Evaluation:
Assess and highlight venue features, benefits, and potential challenges during on-site visits.
Provide accurate and detailed information to clients regarding each venue’s capacity, amenities, and suitability for various events.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with the sales and event planning teams to relay client feedback and insights.
Maintain clear, ongoing communication with both clients and venue partners to ensure alignment on event expectations.
Negotiation & Sales Support:
Utilize your negotiation skills to address client queries and mediate between client expectations and venue offerings.
Assist the sales team by priming leads and setting the stage for successful future engagements.
Administrative Duties:
Document site visit outcomes, client feedback, and potential next steps in our CRM system.
Follow up with clients post-visit to provide additional information and maintain engagement.
Qualifications:
Sales & Negotiation Skills:
Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably within sales, hospitality, or events.
Strong negotiation and persuasive communication skills to facilitate discussions and manage client expectations.
Interpersonal & Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to clearly articulate venue features and benefits while listening carefully to client needs.
Organizational Abilities:
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle multiple site visits and client meetings efficiently.
A proactive and adaptable attitude with a passion for customer service and events.
