Monitor ingredient inventory for the pastry section and communicate needs for ordering or restocking. Assist in the development of new dessert and pastry items in collaboration with the Head Pastry Chef. Train and mentor junior pastry staff and apprentices as needed. Collaborate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth service and a cohesive menu offering. Skills Strong proficiency in pastry techniques, including baking, chocolate work, sugar art, and plated desserts. Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP principles. Experience working in a high-end or high-volume pastry kitchen is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail and artistic presentation skills. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Organised, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards. You'll handle dough production from scratch — mixing and portioning to our recipes and specs — keeping quality and consistency spot-on every single batch. You'll work independently through the night, so we need someone self-sufficient, organised, very reliable and quality-driven, with strong attention to detail.
