Store Supervisor – Plan Burrito, Swansea
Location: Union Street, Swansea
Position: Store Supervisor
Experience: Previous experience in a busy food, retail or hospitality environment preferred
We are looking for an experienced, reliable and hands-on Store Supervisor to join the team at Plan Burrito, Union Street, Swansea.
The successful candidate will help oversee the day-to-day running of the store, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, food safety and staff performance are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising the team and ensuring staff are working efficiently throughout each shift
- Training and supporting new and existing members of staff
- Preparing and managing staff rotas to ensure the store is appropriately staffed
- Monitoring staff attendance, punctuality and performance
- Managing staff break times and ensuring breaks are taken appropriately without affecting service
- Carrying out regular spot checks on staff performance and standards
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the store
- Checking that food preparation and service areas are kept clean and presentable
- Monitoring stock levels and placing orders when required
- Checking deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly
- Monitoring stock rotation and minimising waste
- Ensuring company procedures, food hygiene and health & safety standards are followed
- Helping to resolve day-to-day staff and customer issues
- Leading by example and maintaining a positive, professional working environment
- Supporting the management team with the smooth and efficient running of the store
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
- Experienced in supervising or managing a team
- Confident giving direction and holding staff accountable
- Organised and able to manage rotas and staffing requirements
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Confident checking stock and placing orders
- Hands-on and willing to get involved with all aspects of running the store
- A good communicator who can motivate and support a team
- Able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
What We’re Looking For
This is a hands-on role for someone who can take responsibility for the day-to-day standards of the store and make sure the team is working effectively.
