Simplified Staffing Southampton is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to follow care plans, and a commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients.
Duties
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
Follow individual care plans and report any changes in clients' conditions to the office.
Communicate effectively with clients, their families to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during care.
Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in healthcare practices.
Requirements
Previous experience in a domiciliary or similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
A genuine passion for providing compassionate care to individuals in need.
