Small friendly team - busy but low stress position Must be happy to "get stuck in", have a "hands on" approach and be adaptable and flexible. Must like dogs. One to one in a team of max four. 24 hr shifts in rotation. Private home setting. All normal household activities and personal care included. • Helps with self-care, such as toileting, bathing, dressing, brushing teeth, etc. • Assists with mobility, transferring from one location to another from furniture or car to a wheelchair or vice versa • Engages in muscle stretching and strengthening exercises as needed to maintain and improve range of movement and mobility • Dispenses and administers medications as directed • Any Care and handling required for household pets Personal Care Assistant Job Skills and Qualifications: Good sense of humour, Compassion, Interpersonal Skills, Strong Verbal Communication Skills, ability to leave own issues at the door.
