Assistant Spa Manager - Goodwood Hotel - Chichester Picture yourself as the Assistant Spa Manager at the beautiful Goodwood Estate, joining a Health & Wellbeing team dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences every day. In this varied and people?focused role, you?ll support the Spa Manager with the smooth running of the Waterbeach Spa, ensuring the team feel prepared, motivated and empowered to deliver truly memorable guest experiences. As a natural leader with a passion for wellness, you?ll help cultivate a ?surprise and delight? culture - inspiring both our Therapists and our Spa Reception team to achieve high standards in service, utilisation, occupancy, and retail performance. You?ll play a hands?on role in daily operations, from leading team briefings and supporting with absences, to ensuring treatment standards remain consistently exceptional. You?ll also be involved in financial performance by supporting with revenue targets, cost?control measures and identifying opportunities to streamline systems or introduce new ways of working. Alongside this, you?ll work closely with our Trainer Therapist to maintain high-quality treatments and support the Reception team with stock management and revenue goals. A key part of the role includes immersing yourself in our wellbeing retreats - understanding the purpose behind each element and sharing this knowledge with the team to enrich both colleague and guest experience. Staying current with holistic wellness trends and bringing that energy back into the spa will also be an important part of your contribution. This is a hands-on leadership role, with up to 50% of your week spent performing treatments or supporting Spa Reception where needed. What do I need to be successful? • NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent), • Proven experience as a Spa Beauty Therapist with a genuine passion for the wellness sector, • Leadership experience preferred, with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop a team, • Strong focus on exceptional customer service and guest experience, • Excellent communication skills and a positive, friendly ?can?do? approach, • Ability to prioritise, stay organised and thrive in a fast?paced environment, • Strong attention to detail, particularly around stock control and operational processes, • Additional holistic therapy qualifications would be a bonus, • Flexibility to work weekends, • A comprehensive wellbeing programme including weekly exercise classes, • Free Gym and Health Club membership, • Event tickets to Festival of Speed, Horseracing and Revival, • 10% commission on retail when targets are achieved, • Free 30?minute treatments and access to products at taster prices, • Reduced fees for personal training, • Certified training and development opportunities, • Free uniform and staff meals while on shift, • A health cash plan to redeem medical costs plus more, • Entry into the company bonus scheme
