We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Commercial Cleaner, specializing in block and estate cleaning. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of communal areas within residential apartment blocks and housing estates, ensuring a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for residents and visitors. Key Responsibilities: • Perform thorough cleaning of communal hallways, stairwells, corridors, and entrances., • Clean and polish lifts, doors, handrails, skirting boards, and internal glass surfaces., • Vacuum carpets and mats in all communal areas., • Remove cobwebs from communal spaces and entrances., • Conduct litter picking in external areas such as pathways, car parks, and green spaces., • Manage bin stores, including moving bins for collection and ensuring bin rooms are clean and free of loose rubbish., • Report any issues such as graffiti, fly-tipping, vandalism, or maintenance problems., • Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure the safe and proper use of cleaning chemicals., • Adhere strictly to company health and safety procedures. Requirements: • Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided., • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage your workload., • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high cleaning standards., • Reliable, punctual, and possessing a strong work ethic., • Physically capable of performing manual cleaning duties., • Basic understanding of health and safety guidelines. The successful candidate will ensure all communal areas are kept clean, safe, and well maintained for residents and visitors.
