Lead Quantity Surveyor 📍 Bolton (Office-based with occasional site/office travel) 🏢 Recruiting via Advance TRS Advance TRS is supporting a well-established multi-utility contractor in their search for an experienced Lead Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial delivery of multi-utility infrastructure projects. This is a key role responsible for ensuring projects are delivered within budget, on programme, and in line with contractual and regulatory requirements. 🌟 About the Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the commercial performance of multiple projects, providing financial control, contractual management, and commercial insight to support successful project delivery. The successful candidate will work within the existing operational team and report directly to the Electrical Manager. This role would suit an experienced electrical fitter, jointer, or electrically biased engineer looking to progress into a supervisory position. Overall Purpose of the Role To assist the Electrical Manager in managing direct and subcontract electrical resources, ensuring all electrical installation works—particularly substations and MSUs—are completed to programme, specification, and quality standards. The role will have responsibility for overseeing the full lifecycle of substation installations, from civils build and inspections through to cable terminations, electrical fit-out, and final completion.
