Applications will not be considered except via CV and cover letter The Opportunity We are hiring for a new junior analyst to join our internal research team. The role is to cover European market hours and can be based in our Wimbledon (London) UK office* or remotely. The successful candidate will help to produce research materials and calendars, analyse data and generally support our global market coverage teams who specialize in the Fixed Income and FX markets. What We Will Offer You: · Work with and learn from our amazing analyst teams, including former senior/head traders and strategists at major banks including Citi, Credit Suisse, UBS, Morgan Stanley, SocGen, BoA, RBC and more · Produce and improve products used and relied on every day by our clients, including almost every tier-1 bank and macro hedge fund · Contribute to the growth and development of our company and products · Gain insights and understanding on what really moves markets moment to moment · Develop skills to analyse real-world fixed income and FX market developments Skills and Attributes we Need from You: · Deep interest and desire to learn about macro, FX and fixed income markets · At least a basic, demonstrable, level of knowledge and understanding about financial markets · Prior market-based work experience is not required but would be very welcome · Advanced Excel skills including strong knowledge and ability to code in VBA (macros) · Strong general computer skills · Experience working on research projects involving data processing, spreadsheets and/or coding · Strong academic record – preferably a degree, or equivalent, in a relevant course, with above average grade · Energetic, enthusiastic, focused · Excellent attention to detail · Fluent English to first language standard · Works well in a team with strong communication skills Who are InTouch Capital Markets?
