We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dog Grooming Teacher to join our supportive team. This hands-on role is ideal for a professional groomer who enjoys working with people and helping others develop their practical skills, confidence and industry knowledge. The successful candidate will: • Teach and mentor students throughout their dog grooming training, • Demonstrate professional grooming techniques and best practices, • Provide constructive feedback and adapt teaching to different learning styles and experience levels, • Support students in developing their practical skills and preparing for careers in the grooming industry, • Maintain high standards of professionalism, animal welfare and grooming practice, • Manage classes and student records using academy software and systems, • Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute ideas to the continued development of the academy We are looking for someone who is patient, approachable, reliable, organised and passionate about dog grooming and education. A positive, supportive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential. Requirements: • At least 3 years of professional dog grooming experience, • A recognised dog grooming qualification or certification, including a Level 3 Diploma in Dog Grooming or equivalent, • Strong practical grooming skills and industry knowledge, • Excellent communication skills, • Experience teaching, mentoring or supporting others is desirable, • Teaching, Assessor or IQA qualifications are desirable but not essential, • Confidence using IT systems and software, • A full UK driving licence is preferred The role is initially full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Occasional weekend work may be required for special events and will be paid extra. As the academy grows, there may be an opportunity to move towards a more flexible, rota-based working pattern, depending on business requirements and individual preferences.
