You’ll be part of a highly skilled maintenance team, keeping critical automated and electrical systems running smoothly and ensuring the site hits its performance targets every single day.Job Responsibilities • Deliver high-quality electrical maintenance across production and process equipment to consistently meet factory performance targets, • Carry out electrical setup activities, including machine resets, calibrations, and production support, • Diagnose and repair electrical breakdowns quickly and effectively (PLC faults, motors, sensors, drives, control panels, etc.), • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) to minimise downtime and improve reliability, • Conduct testing, inspection, and verification of electrical systems in line with legislation and site standards, • Support with installation, upgrade, and commissioning of new machinery, electrical panels, and control systems, • Respond to first-line issues across site utilities — including compressors, chillers, boilers, LV distribution, and control equipment, • Work safely at all times, following electrical safety rules, isolation procedures, and permit systems, • Use stores systems and Maintenance Management Systems to accurately record work, parts usage, and maintenance data, • Contribute to continuous improvement, reliability projects, and root cause analysis, • Provide occasional mechanical support when required (within competency)Skills and Experience, • Recognised electrical apprenticeship (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent), • Strong experience working on production and process equipment within a fast-paced factory environment, • Skilled in fault finding on: PLC I/O paths, sensors, relays, motors, drives, inverters, and automated systems, • Confident working on LV distribution, control circuits, and machine wiring, • Experience with site utilities (compressors, chillers, boilers), • Good understanding of both planned and reactive maintenance within a manufacturing environment, • Computer literacy for stores systems and CMMS, • Knowledge of 17th/18th Edition wiring regulations (Beneficial), • Mechanical competencyPay and Benefits, • Salary: £44,000 per annum, plus overtime, • Outstanding pension scheme - you contribute 4%, the company contributes 10%, • Annual tool allowance, • 5 hours per week: Monday–Friday, 07:00–15:30 or 08:00–16:30, • 30 days holiday per year + 10 additional Fridays off per month (April–October), • Life assurance (4x average salary), • Company sick pay scheme, • Onsite free parking, • Access to buyable benefits such as dental and medical cover, • Childcare vouchers
