Join a dynamic team at a thriving independent coffee shop dedicated to serving high-quality food and beverages with warm hospitality. As an Assistant Chef, you will play a crucial role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in preparing and delivering delicious food items that delight our community. Must be open to working 5 days a week with the possibility of an occasional weekend once up to speed. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Head Chef with daily food preparation, cooking, and plating of various menu items, • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment in accordance with food safety regulations, • Collaborate effectively with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service., • Ensure back of house is kept tidy and clean at all times., • On busier days, may involve taking dishes to tables so applicant must be courteous and open to customer engagement.
