Ferrane Bakery is opening this spring in Brooklyn Heights, bringing the warmth of Swedish baking culture to the neighborhood. From hearty rye breads to buttery cardamom buns and artisan viennoiserie, Ferrane will be a go-to community hub for quality pastries, sandwiches, and exceptional coffee—all served in a beautiful, welcoming space.
We’re looking for passionate bakers to join our founding team. If you love early mornings, fresh dough, and being part of something special from the ground up—we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
Bake breads, pastries, and viennoiserie to perfection
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of skilled bakers
Work with high-quality ingredients and a menu designed by award-winning Swedish professionals
Help shape the culture of a brand-new bakery focused on community and excellence
What You’ll Need:
Minimum 1 year of professional baking experience
Experience with bread, croissants, and/or pastries
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work early (shifts begin at 4 AM)
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
Positive attitude and team-first mindset
Perks & Culture:
$19- $23/hr based on experience
