MHS is hiring married couples to become flex houseparents. Flex houseparents are couples who reside in on-campus student homes, guiding and nurturing a group of approximately 8-12 students. Flex houseparents provide a consistent family-like structure for students and handle responsibilities such as driving, administering medication, budgeting, reporting, etc. When initially hired, flex houseparents cover different student homes before being assigned to one specific home. Workdays include a period of personal time while students are at school · Three-week paid summer vacation Qualifications: · Experience working or volunteering with youth, preferably from under-served settings · This is a two-person job for couples who have been legally married for at least two years · Both spouses should be age 27 or older · No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home · Abide by a smoke-free and weapon-free campus. No alcohol is permitted while on duty · Limitations on pets. Employment type: • Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits, • Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits, • Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities, • Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams, • Completed an accredited FNP or PA program with a national certification, • In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least: 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), • A passion for human-centered primary care, • The ability to successfully communicate with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds, • The ability to effectively use technology to deliver high quality care, • Clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care, • The desire to be an integral part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery, • An openness to feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into strengths and weaknesses, • The ability to confidently navigate uncertain situations with both patients and colleagues One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $146,400 to $155,530 per year based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
