A Nurse Manager is a Registered Nurse who functions within the Nursing organizational structure and has responsibilities to plan, direct, control, coordinate and implement policies and procedures/and or programs relative to unit operations and nursing services. Responsible for overall management of assigned unit(s) 24 hours a day. Acts as an Administrative liaison between the Nursing Director, Nursing Administrative Supervisors and the staff related to nursing service problems on assigned weekends, holidays and off tours.
