Shades of Grey Production is hiring part-time crew members to help with setup and breakdown for events across NYC. We specialize in lighting, staging, audio, and drape for weddings, corporate functions, and concerts.
To Apply:
What You’ll Do:
Assist with loading/unloading trucks, setting up stages, lighting gear, pipe and drape, and more
Work at venues all over NYC (indoor and outdoor)
Follow instructions and operate as part of a team
Requirements:
Punctuality and reliability are a must
Able to lift 50+ lbs and be on your feet for several hours
No experience necessary, but any stagehand/labor/tech experience is a plus
Must be based in NYC and able to travel to events
Schedule:
Flexible, on-call gigs (evenings, weekends, some weekdays)
Events scheduled monthly – we’ll work around your school schedule!
Pay:
Starting at $150/day, depending on experience and length of shift.
Perfect for students, freelancers, or anyone looking to get a foot in the door with NYC’s live event industry.
