Our success depends on dependable employees who combine technical consistency, efficient production, strong customer service, and respectful interaction with students and school staff.

Position Summary

Maintains daytime readiness and organization of the Real Photos studio by receiving deliveries, controlling inventory, organizing equipment and supplies, preparing event materials, and completing a clear handoff for the afternoon gear-preparation shift.

Seasonality and Work Availability

Real Photos is a seasonal business aligned with the school calendar. Peak event periods generally run from October through December and February through March. Work may be limited or unavailable during summer, holidays, school breaks, closures, cancellations, or other periods without scheduled events. The role is planned for up to 30 paid hours per week, but assignments and minimum hours are not guaranteed unless stated in writing. Employees are paid for all hours worked; when no work is assigned or scheduled and none is performed, no wages are earned, subject to the written offer and applicable law.

Essential Responsibilities

· Handle all photographic studio appointments as needed.

· Open, organize, and maintain assigned studio work areas so equipment, clothing, props, supplies, and documents can be located quickly and safely.

· Receive company and vendor deliveries, verify quantities and condition, record the receipt, and route each item to the correct department or storage area.

· Maintain accurate inventory records and complete scheduled counts for equipment, accessories, backgrounds, clothing, props, ID materials, cases, and consumable supplies.

· Store all items in labeled locations and keep shelves, racks, cabinets, equipment areas, and receiving areas orderly and secure.

· Prepare and stage equipment, paperwork, labels, props, wardrobe, and support materials from approved event checklists before the afternoon handoff.

· Prepare, print, sort, and quality-check ID cards or related materials when assigned and trained.

· Track clothing and graduation garments that require washing, repair, replacement, or restocking and coordinate approved cleaning or follow-up.

· Restock approved supplies and notify the manager before essential items reach the established reorder level.

· Perform approved cleaning and basic troubleshooting and route damaged or malfunctioning items for repair; do not attempt unauthorized repairs.

· Protect student information, images, memory media, paperwork, and company records and follow secure handling procedures.

· Provide an accurate shift handoff to the PM Gear Prep Tech and timely status updates to Field Operations, drivers, photographers, Customer Service, and Lab teams.

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable relevant work experience.

· Strong organization, attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and ability to follow written checklists.

· Comfort using labels, inventory logs, computers, printers, spreadsheets, and basic equipment-tracking systems.

· Ability to stand and move for extended periods, lift up to 40 pounds independently, and maintain the assigned 5- or 6-day schedule, including Saturdays when scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience in a photography studio, warehouse, production, inventory, shipping and receiving, printing, or equipment environment.

· Bilingual English/Spanish communication and familiarity with photography equipment, ID production, or school-picture operations.

Key Performance and Responsibilities

· Accurate receiving records, inventory counts, and discrepancy reporting.

· On-time completion of studio opening, organizing, restocking, and preparation checklists.

· Correct staging of equipment, materials, props, wardrobe, labels, and school-specific items.

· Accuracy and quality of ID-card, printing, labeling, or sorting tasks when assigned.

· Cleanliness, safety, security, and consistent organization of the studio work areas.

· Clear handoffs and timely communication with the PM Gear Prep Tech and operating departments.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
