Luften LLC is seeking a hands-on and highly organized Production Manager to oversee daily production and warehouse operations at our Brooklyn facility. This role is responsible for coordinating production, packaging, filling, labeling, inventory, quality control, order fulfillment, and workflow across the production team.The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to lead employees, solve problems quickly, and ensure that daily production goals are completed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities


  • Oversee daily production and warehouse workflow
  • Assign and prioritize tasks for production and warehouse staff
  • Monitor product filling, packaging, labeling, and order preparation
  • Ensure production schedules and daily targets are completed on time
  • Perform and oversee quality-control inspections
  • Check finished products for leaks, damage, incorrect labels, or packaging issues
  • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, packaging, and finished products
  • Coordinate materials needed for upcoming production runs
  • Oversee shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment
  • Maintain organized and efficient warehouse and production areas
  • Train employees on production procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Identify production problems and implement improvements
  • Monitor employee productivity and workflow
  • Assist with production equipment setup and basic troubleshooting
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of production materials
  • Work closely with management regarding production needs, staffing, inventory, and deadlines
  • Assist with hands-on production work when necessary

Qualifications


  • Previous experience in production, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a similar environment
  • Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
  • Experience with inventory, shipping, receiving, or fulfillment preferred
  • Basic computer and inventory-management skills preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical warehouse tasks
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to take ownership of operations
