Direct Support Professionals who work in the Community Connections program are part of a team that works with people with a multitude of interests and with varying support needs. Schedule: Saturdays and/or Sundays, 5-6 hour shifts. Day time and evening. The Employment Counselor is responsible for ensuring that the people they support are able to maintain and grow in their jobs and careers. Employment Counselors must be proactive, seeking out ways for a person to grow on the job and by identifying issues before they jeopardize a person's employment. Employment Counselors must be reliable and punctual; in order for the people we support to be successful in their jobs.
