Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Special Education Teacher, • Discipline: School Services, • Duration: 33 weeks, • 40 hours per week, • Shift: 8 hours, days, • Employment Type: Local Contract Special Education Teacher Position Details: • Location: Bronx, NY, • Pay: Starting at $48/hr, • Hours: May vary based on grade level, • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education required, Master’s degree preferred., • Valid NY teaching certification In Special Education., • Experience in Middle-High School Level History, Math and/or Science required, • Proven experience in lesson planning with clear objectives and assessment methods., • Strong organizational and communication skills., • Familiarity with Common Core State Standards and educational technology., • Strong knowledge of special education laws, techniques, and best practices.
