POSITION OVERVIEW The Paralegal for Risk Management will be responsible for providing administrative and office support to the Executive Vice President/Chief Legal Officer, Executive Deputy Counsel, Deputy Counsel for Litigation, Corporate Compliance Officer, with a focus on working with the Corporate Risk Manager. Position Overview The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate requires someone who is culturally aware and sensitive to the needs of the targeted population, possess excellent computer skills, be able to function as a part of an inter-disciplinary team and have understanding of therapy and group work rooted in evidenced based approaches for intervention and management strategies. Certified Recovery Peer Advocate services are peer-delivered services with a rehabilitation and recovery focus. They are designed to promote skills for coping with and managing behavioral health symptoms while facilitating the utilization of natural resources and the enhancement of recovery-oriented principles (e.g. hope and self-efficacy, and community living skills). The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate uses trauma-informed, non-clinical assistance to achieve long-term recovery from a behavioral health disorder. The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for client case record reviews, performance improvement and quality improvement to include all required monthly reports. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Responsible for the daily operations and performance of the OTP program, • Manage OTP clinic operations to budgeted and planned results., • Work closely with staff via weekly supervision to ensure the completion of performance goals. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) provide alcoholism and substance abuse counseling services in approved work settings. The CASAC provides comprehensive assessment services to clients who may have substance abuse barriers to employment by applying clinical judgment to determine appropriate treatment needs and levels of care. This includes performing diagnostic assessment, evaluation, intervention, referral and alcoholism and/or substance abuse counseling in both individual and group settings. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Develops and conducts group individual and family counseling on a scheduled basis to caseload clients/residents, • Obtain weekly random urine samples according to established protocol, • Orients clients/residents about program goals, objectives, rules and regulations, client’s obligations, client’s rights and program operation, • Demonstrates knowledge of group work management techniques and uses those techniques appropriately, • Demonstrates appropriate treatment planning and clinical intervention, • Demonstrates knowledge of appropriate documentation, • Provides education and information to the client about alcohol and drug abuse, • Maintains and updates referral services and resources that may be useful to our client/resident population; makes referral when necessary and appropriate, • High School Diploma required. Job Description Bilingual School Social Worker Compensation: $63K-$78K per year Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift. Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a Bilingual School Social Worker for their Queens, NY location.
