POSITION OVERVIEW: The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for working alongside our physicians and facilitating advanced primary and specialty nursing services to our patients. The primary responsibility will be to provide advanced primary and/or specialty nursing care to patients in the facility. Duties will include, but are not limited to, performing physicals exams, recording patient medical histories, creating patient care plans, administering treatment and diagnostic tests and observing the patient’s response to treatment. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments, • Conduct mental status examinations and pharmacological evaluations, • Prescribe medications, teach clients about side effects and monitor response to prescribed medications, including ordering of laboratory tests as needed, • Administer injectable medications as needed, • Complete all documentation (i.e. progress notes and psychiatric assessments) as required in a timely manner in the electronic medical record (EMR), • Review and provide recommendations for treatment plans, • Provide expedited services to clients based on risk assessment status as clinically indicated., • Provide crisis intervention services to clients as needed, • Communicate with other medical practitioners in order to coordinate treatment for clients., • Speak with managed care insurance representatives to obtain authorizations for prescribed medications when needed, • Participate in staff meetings and case conferences, • Collaborate with primary therapists, clinical supervisor and program director to discuss status of client progress in treatment and provide input/guidance on treatment planning and risk management issues., • Maintain an 80% show rate for clients who are scheduled for regular appointments, • Provide a behavioral risk screening of the newly admitted residents, and share the findings with the primary care team. Provide a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation as requested., • Provide ongoing psychopharmacological management as clinically appropriate., • Recommend and provide behavior management interventions as appropriate and functions as a member of behavior rapid response team., • Collaborate psychiatric management with the members of the primary care team and the attending psychiatrist., • Participate in inter-departmental collaborative committees as needed and quality assurance and performance improvement activities., • Document clinical activities in the medical record, and maintain documentation of administrative activities., • Active and unrestricted New York State Nurse Practitioner license., • Active and unrestricted New York State Registered Nurse license., • Active and unrestricted NPI and DEA registration., • DATA 2000 Waiver., • Master’s Degree in Nursing/Related field completion of Accredited NP Program required., • Current Infection Control certification., • Current Basic Life Support certification, • Three years of practical experience preferred, • Ability to work on a strong team of professionals in a culturally diverse environment., • Ability to multitask and to work and function under pressure., • Bilingual – Spanish strongly preferred., • Experience or desire to work with people who have a mental illness, • Positive attitude and professional demeanor, • Ability to complete work independently as well as in collaboration with team members, • Must be team oriented with a willingness to be flexible and helpful to move the organizational goals, • Excellent computer skills including, Microsoft Windows, Excel, PowerPoint, and electronic communications tools: internet and email, • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, • Highly organized, motivated self-starter to meet organizational goals, • Excellent time management skills Acacia Network provides a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to our employees. The primary role of a Camp Counselor is to provide safety while supervising playgroups of up to 25 energetic dogs in an open play environment. Counselors must be attentive, focused, and quick to evaluate dog behavior in order to prevent altercations from occurring in the group. Camp Counselors dont play with dogsthey provide a safe and clean environment for dogs to play with dogs. The Camp Counselor position is physically demanding and full of daily challenges and victories. POSITION OVERVIEW Program Director will provide clinical oversight and quality assurance to all unlicensed and licensed staff clinicians who provide substance and alcohol abuse services in chemical dependence within the integrated outpatient treatment program. The program director is legally responsible for adherence to all applicable licensing, supervision, billing, documentation requirements and overseeing the timeliness and quality of a staff member’s clinical work. The program director is responsible for oversight of case record reviews, performance improvement, quality improvement and utilization review to include all required monthly reports. KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Responsible for the daily operations and performance of the integrated outpatient programs, • Manages clinic operations to budgeted and planned results, • Interviews, hires, trains, evaluates, manages, counsels and terminates subordinate personnel, • Works closely with staff via weekly supervision to ensure the completion of performance goals. Services include gathering and assessing health history, physical examination, minor office procedures, monitoring of daily medication administration, treatment, referral, counseling and follow up care and services. POSITION OVERVIEW The Medical Director engages in the professional, organizational, and administrative activities of the provide quality care to clients based upon their medical and psycho-social needs. The Medical Director develops, implements, evaluates the medical practice delivery model in accordance with specific goals. The responsibilities of the Medical Director are to be performed on a full time basis and are designed to provide medical leadership, services, direction and coordination in the provision of medical care and physician services. The Medical Director is the liaison between administration and the medical staff. The Medical Director assumes responsibility for all applicable Federal, State and City regulations for the department. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN ALBANY, NY KEY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS • Participating in planning, development, and organization of medical services provided., • Meets with all scheduled patients efficiently and reviews scheduling with supervisor daily., • Develops and reviews all medical policies related to patient care., • Conduct physical examinations of patients upon their admission and thereafter on an annual, regular and on an “as-needed-basis.”, • Review the completion and appropriateness of all intake documentation, including patient health history (i.e., other medications and allergies), drug abuse history and previous treatment failures., • Review and approval of initial needs assessment and patient initial treatment plans and reviews., • Participates in preparation for regulatory agency site visits., • Anytime the program is open, and a physician is not present, a physician must be available for consultation and to attend to any emergency situation., • Perform additional relevant duties as requested by supervisors/management, • Knowledge of Federal, State and City regulatory requirements and ensures all aspects of clinical care conforms to these requirements., • Order, evaluate, adjust and terminate prescription of medication dosages using sound medical, ethical and responsible discretion and meets with the patient to discuss any adjustments in medication dosage., • Reviews all accident/incidents related to patient care and provides input into actions necessary to resolve identified problems. Establish buprenorphine service., • Participate in a weekly and on an “as-needed-basis” case conferencing sessions with MDT members to discuss preventative treatment measure to adverse changes as well as progress in patient’s medical condition., • Medical services provided by the program, • Medical director will provide medical services to the program. The medical director will have oversight of the development and revision of medical policies and procedures and ongoing training, • Collaborative supervision with the Program Director of non-medical staff in the provision of substance use disorder services., • Supervision of medical staff in the performance of medical services., • Oversight of the development of policies and procedures to ensure the provision of routine services,, • Oversight of the establishment of policies and procedures for public health education and screening, • Assisting in the development of necessary referral and linkage relationships with other institutions and agencies, • Ensuring the program compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations., • Assures medical staff compliance with all regulatory and licensure guidelines., • Ensures compliance of all members of the medical staff to the rules, regulations and bylaws of the Medical Department. POSITION OVERVIEW Under supervision of the Clinical Supervisor the CASAC-T Counselor will provide counseling services in integrated outpatient program. The CASAC-T Counselor provides comprehensive assessment services to clients who may have substance use and mental health barriers to employment by applying clinical judgment to determine appropriate treatment needs and level of care. This includes performing SUD diagnostic screening, assessment, evaluation, orientation, treatment planning, case management, counseling, intervention, crisis intervention, patient education, reporting and record keeping in both individual and group counseling settings. Responsibilities of the Role • Support the Director of Marketing., • Assist with daily review of industry resources for potential project leads., • Collaborate closely with Principals and other design professionals in our efforts to secure new work., • Review all Requests for Qualifications/Proposals and coordinate materials for timely, compliant responses., • Solicit and manage subconsultants’ content for marketing responses., • Transition project information for successful project pursuits to Finance., • Maintain comprehensive records of projects, organizing key data in our CRM, Vantagepoint., • Coordinate and prepare materials for conferences, presentations, and special events., • Manage and organize digital photography and images used in our marketing efforts., • Manage and update staff resumes to ensure they're always submission-ready., • Create engaging new project sheets that bring our portfolio to life., • Develop and publish regular social media content to showcase projects, highlight special activities, and news of the business., • Assist with coordinating internal and external communication and branding., • Manage website content and updates with new projects, staff, and news., • Manage sponsorships, ads, and charitable contributions. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or graphic design., • Three (3) years of experience as a marketing coordinator, or similar role., • Be a self-motivated, strong team player who is highly proactive and detail oriented., • Have excellent communication (both verbal and written), organizational, and problem-solving skills., • Be reliable and flexible with unanticipated deadlines.
