Job Description TITLE: Enterprise Risk Management Associate LOCATION: Headquarters REPORTS TO: Senior Vice President – Compliance & Chief Risk Officer CLASSIFICATION: Full Time, Non Exempt PAY GRADE: NE 40 ($22.00 - $35.21 per hour) AVAILABILITY: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm Position Summary: The Enterprise Risk Management Associate is responsible for supporting the Enterprise Risk Management program by promptly and accurately completing key functions, including but not limited to HMDA and CRA compliance, third party risk management (vendor management) and corporate insurance administration. The Associate must be willing to develop a working knowledge of Pioneer’s business units, operations, systems, and product integrations, as well as working collaboratively with other business units to obtain the necessary information to support areas of responsibility. The ERM Associate must demonstrate a willingness to learn all areas of responsibility. Key Responsibilities: Third-Party Risk Management -Collaborates with business units/departments to establish and maintain all third-party risk management activities including but not limited to: vendor onboarding, risk assessment, evaluation, documentation, and ongoing monitoring. -Coordinates all third-party risk management tasks with external third parties and/or business units. -Ensures enterprise-wide needs for due diligence, risk assessment and continuing third party monitoring are being accomplished in a timely manner. -Tracks, monitors and communicates contract terms and deliverables including but not limited to: renewal and termination clauses, pricing, service level agreements and other pertinent contractual obligations. -Communicates third party issues and concerns. -Ensures detailed information is entered into the vendor management system and maintained in accordance with policy, procedures, and defined timelines. -Coordinates and communicates vendor management policy and processes with peers and vendors. -Proactively monitors changes to exam requirements/FFIEC guidance as issued and adjusts programs, policies and procedures in a timely manner, as it relates to third-party risk management. -Identifies, implements and enhances efficiencies associated with vendor management systems and processes. -Assists in developing/performing vendor management training for business units. HMDA and CRA Program -Assists in the completion of HMDA, CRA and Fair Lending Self-Assessment Analyses at the designated frequency. -Assists in the facilitation of Pioneer's Fair Lending Program, including regular risk assessments, monitoring, file reviews and regulatory change management to ensure compliance with the letter and spirit of applicable laws and regulations. -With oversight from the SVP – Compliance and Chief Risk Officer, provides guidance Pioneer’s management and staff regarding the application of CRA/HMDA/Fair Lending related requirements and integration into related processes. -Keeps up to date on regulatory changes necessary to comply with CRA and HMDA data collection. -Assists in the response to HMDA/CRA/Fair Lending compliance monitoring/audit findings and questions. -Facilitates the collection of HMDA/CRA data monthly including community development activities. -Monitors proposed, newly implemented and changes to existing laws and regulations. -Assists in ensuring that policies are properly administered and procedures are followed. -Verifies accuracy of HMDA and CRA Data monthly, including but not limited to a review of HMDA and CRA input against documentation in file, community development activities, resolving any discrepancies, and assisting in annual filings. -Produces HMDA Report of all HMDA reportable loans for uploading to CRA Wiz software. -Produces CRA Report of all Small Business Loans, Consumer Loans, and Community Development activities for upload to CRA Wiz software. -Maintains Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Fair Lending records for regulatory compliance. Prepares year-end loan documentation for submission to a regulatory agency. -Works on special projects and other duties as assigned. Corporate Insurance Administration -Assist with the annual renewal processes for corporate insurance policies (D&O, cyber, liability, property, etc.). -Track claims, renewals, and certificates of insurance. Additional Responsibilities -Assist with the annual review of policies and procedures for approval by the Board. -Provides administrative support and basic clerical support, including copying, faxing, e-mailing, etc. for other members of the Risk Management Department as primary duties permit. -Uses knowledge of the Pioneer’s products and services to develop and/or refer potential customers to the appropriate business development or sales officer. -Participates in organization-wide employee events as well as community events sponsored by Pioneer. -Performs additional duties as requested. Qualifications & Competencies: -High School Diploma or GED required. -Associates’ Degree in Business, Finance, Legal Studies or related field preferred. -2-3 years of experience in banking or financial services with exposure to risk, or compliance activities. -Familiarity with OCC regulatory expectations and risk management principles preferred. -Knowledge of HMDA, CRA, third-party risk management, and board governance practices preferred. -Proficiency with Microsoft Office and risk management systems preferred.
