Come join a winning team! Carpenter Burns Management is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to support capital improvement and renovation projects across our managed property portfolio. This full-time, hands-on role is ideal for a detail-oriented craftsperson who takes pride in high-quality work and can complete a wide range of carpentry tasks independently or as part of a team. Reports to: Construction Superintendent Supervises: N/A Wage Status: $30/hour Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Birthday PTO Job Type: Full-time Worksite Location: Capital Region Job Responsibilities: • Perform a variety of carpentry tasks including:, • Framing, drywall, flooring, cabinetry, trim installation, minor demolition, and finish work, • Follow project plans and specifications to ensure work is completed accurately and to a high standard, • Coordinate with the site team to complete work orders and renovation projects efficiently, • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, • Handle materials and tools appropriately; assist with site logistics as needed, • Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, and fellow team members while working in occupied spaces, • Report project progress, material needs, and any job site issues to the Construction Superintendent, • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and participate in safety meetings, • Other duties as assigned Essential Job Functions: • Proficient in both rough and finish carpentry, • Ability to read and understand blueprints and scopes of work, • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and job site equipment, • Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship, • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation, • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds and safely use ladders and stairs, • OSHA 10 certification preferred (OSHA 30 a plus), • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Core Values: In order to achieve success, the Burns Management Property Management team must embrace certain core principles and values. • Honesty, • Integrity, • Competence, • Tenacity & Enthusiasm, • Creativity, • Professionalism, • Drive Safety Responsibilities: • Model safe work practices on every project, • Identify and help correct unsafe conditions proactively, • Participate in regular safety training Additional Requirements: • Attendance and punctuality are essential, • Must comply with all company policies and procedures, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook, • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, • Commitment to continual improvement and professional developmentCompany DescriptionBurns Management is a professional real estate management company in business since 1974 seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team of talented professionals.
