Description: MLVR Charter School searching for a Bilingual/Bicultural ESL Teacher to join our talented team! Candidates must possess a NJ Bilingual/Bicultural endorsement (CEAS, CE, Provisional, Standard, or Limited CE accepted). Responsibilities and Duties • Create, deliver, and evaluate lessons in accordance with the curriculum and state standards., • Establish and maintain a classroom culture that promotes learning, respect, and high expectations., • Establish and maintain communication with families regarding student progress and classroom activities., • Maintain up-to-date class records, including attendance logs and grade computations., • Attend weekly PLC meetings to actively collaborate with educational team., • Participate in professional development and school-wide initiatives., • Support school events such as field trips, parent engagement nights, and other activities meant to foster a sense of community. Requirements: • Candidate must possess at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree., • Candidate must possess a New Jersey Bilingual/Bicultural endorsement. (CEAS, CE, Provisional, Standard, or Limited CE accepted)- We will accept Alternate Route Teachers and will provide ongoing professional development., • Candidate must speak Spanish.
