We are looking for a junior accountant to join our team. Responsible for journal entries, bank reconciliations, tax return preparation, and also assisting with establishment, documentation, and continuous improvement of all financial processes, and forms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), general bookkeeping, and maintaining accurate financial records using QuickBooks. Responsibilities • Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions, • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and ledger, • Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records in QuickBooks, • Assist with monthly closings and financial reporting, • Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures, • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required, • Experience in AP, AR, and bookkeeping, • Proficiency in QuickBooks is required, • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, • 401(k), • Employee discount, • Health insurance, • Paid time off Experience: Accounts payable: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: Queens, NY 11355
