Job DescriptionJob Title: Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) Specialist Location: Florham Park, NJ (Hybrid) Pay Rate: Up to $50 per hour Contract Duration: 4-Month Maternity Leave Coverage Employment Type: Contract Assignment Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled QEHS Specialist to support a 4-month maternity leave assignment. This role is responsible for driving quality, environmental, health, and safety programs across the organization, ensuring compliance with industry standards, ISO certifications, regulatory requirements, and internal corporate directives. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, a deep understanding of quality systems, and experience working within regulated environments. Key Responsibilities Quality Control & Assurance • Develop, implement, and maintain quality control processes, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with company and industry standards., • Conduct regular inspections, audits, and evaluations of products, services, and processes., • Manage the disposition of nonconforming product., • Collaborate with Process Engineering to develop FMEAs, Control Plans, and SPC measures., • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and corporate directives for quality and operational excellence.Internal Auditing & Regulatory Compliance, • Conduct internal Quality, Environmental, and Safety audits to identify gaps, risks, and areas for improvement., • Support continuous improvement initiatives and corrective actions., • Maintain compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, and internal standards., • Serve as a liaison during regulatory inspections, audits, and compliance reviews.Data Analysis & Reporting, • Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to quality control, defects, non-conformities, environmental risks, and safety incidents., • Prepare and deliver QEHS reports to management and regulatory bodies, as required., • Utilize data insights to reduce defects and enhance process performance.Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA), • Investigate quality issues, non-conformities, incidents, and near misses., • Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions., • Track CAPA effectiveness and ensure timely closure.Environmental Compliance & Risk Management, • Oversee environmental compliance programs and sustainability initiatives., • Maintain RoHS, REACH, PFAS, TSCA, and Prop 65 compliance in partnership with business units., • Develop Aspect/Impact Registers in accordance with ISO 14001., • Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of hazardous materials.Safety Management, • Collaborate with the Safety Coordinator to support implementation of improvements to the EHS system in accordance with ISO 45001., • Assist in incident investigations and implement actions to prevent recurrence.C-TPAT Compliance, • Partner with the Logistics team to maintain certification and ensure compliance with C-TPAT requirements.Training & Development, • Provide QEHS-related training to employees, including quality procedures, environmental standards, and safety protocols., • Promote workforce awareness and adherence to organizational standards and best practices.Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour Search managed by: Tracy Galarza Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
