Job Description JOB DEFINITION: The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Care Coordinator (PRCC) functions as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team to provide skill-building, vocational, and care-coordination services to individuals diagnosed with mental health and/ or substance use disorders. The PRCC partners with clients to identify social, community, and skills-based needs, and works with individuals to develop skills needed for meeting those needs. This role directly serves clients, engages with clinical treatment team members, and advocates with community-service agencies to reduce reliance on the behavioral health system, increase wellness self-management, and promote recovery. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields: Social Work, Psychology, Education, Rehabilitation, Occupational Therapy, Counseling, Community Mental Health, Sociology, Speech and Hearing, Physical or Recreational therapy. Degrees in other related areas may be considered. Master's Degree with current state licensure preferred. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least one (1) year of human service experience required. Job Description In the Assistant Director (RN) role, you will serve as clinical support and backup to the Director for all independent external appeals activities. You will assist with management of day-to-day operations of all client products, including administrative denials, medical necessity review, claims reviews, and DRG review. The Assistant Director (RN) will provide training and development for review activities to internal staff. Duties include but are not limited to: • With Director supervision, responsible for overseeing and tracking compliance with various health care rules, jurisdictional laws/regulations, and contract requirements.
