This immersive approach builds confidence before you step into patient care., • Career Advancement: Join a rapidly expanding organization with clear pathways for growth and leadership., • Supportive Culture: Collaborate with a mission-driven team that values development, teamwork, and compassion., • Competitive pay reflective of your skills and experience, • Medical, dental, and vision coverage (eligible after 90 days), • Employer-paid life insurance, • Short- and long-term disability coverage, • 401(k) with company match, • Paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days), • 12-hour weekday shifts, • 8-hour weekend shifts Incentives: • Perfect attendance bonuses, • Travel bonuses for multi-site coverage Core Responsibilities: • Patient Interaction: Escort patients, record vitals, and gather medical histories, • Clinical Support: Perform blood draws, COVID swabs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing (e.g., urinalysis), • Medication Administration: Administer medications under provider supervision, • Front Desk Support: Greet patients, verify insurance, manage calls, and schedule appointments, • High school diploma or equivalent (required), • Certified Medical Assistant program completion (preferred), • Current Medical Assistant certification, • Current CPR and First Aid certification Experience: • Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting, • EKG experience (required), • Urgent Care experience (preferred), • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and EMR systems, • Proficiency with PC applications (Internet, email, Microsoft Office), • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to walk, sit, reach, and lift 25–50 lbs, • High school diploma or equivalent (required), • Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program (preferred), • Current certification as a Medical Assistant, • Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting, • Experience in Urgent Care (preferred), • EKG experience (required), • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and staff, • Demonstrated initiative and accountability in responsibilities, • Open to constructive feedback and continuous improvement, • Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures, • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems, • Familiarity with medical instruments and clinical workflows, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team, • Competence with PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office, • Strong time management, organizational, and customer service skills, • Occasionally required to sit, walk, and reach with hands and arms, • Occasionally required to lift moderate weights (25–50 pounds)
