Our newly renovated department has a 42-bed capacity and features rooms specially designed for fast track, general medical and critical care patients. Our team is prepared at any time to treat patients presenting for a variety of complaints with a wide range of acuity levels. Sinai's Emergency Department is certified as a level IV trauma care facility by the state of Wisconsin. We have also been recognized by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association with the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke GOLD PLUS achievement award and are accredited by the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Geriatric Emergency Department. Therefore, protective clothing and equipment must be worn as necessary., • Must have functional speech, vision, hearing, and touch with ability to use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
