Job Summary Hanover Bank is looking for a full-time Senior Help Desk Support Analyst to join our team. The Senior Help Desk Support Analyst is responsible for independent provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of system hardware and software on MS Windows-based platforms. Performs complex systems administration, adjusts application security settings, and manages user accounts. They will take an active role in user account administration, configuration, and systems upgrade. Additionally, they will collaborate with third-party server providers to resolve any network or application-related issues. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities • Provide end-user support on desktop, laptop, printer/copier, and hardware/software issues on a timely basis at all complexities and with all levels of users., • Service desktop/laptop computer hardware (memory modules, hard drive, etc.), • Assist employees, Board Members, and RDC customers through remote and onsite support., • Perform regular proactive maintenance., • Remain current and monitor technical developments in the marketplace., • Make recommendations as appropriate. The selected candidate will develop and execute exploratory and/or automated tests to ensure the product quality of DDC developed software solutions. Under the direction of Senior Project Management staff, and with latitude for independent initiative and judgment the QA Analyst will collaborate with the developer teams and business units, in designing comprehensive test plans and test cases. Additional duties include monitoring debugging process results and defining corrective actions; reviewing specifications and technical design documents and providing timely and meaningful feedback. The QA Analyst will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics; conduct tests before product launch to ensure software solutions run smoothly and meet the requirements; monitor all stages of software development to identify and resolve system errors and code discrepancies. College education may be substituted for up to two years of the required experience in (2) above on the basis that sixty (60) semester credits from an accredited college is equated to one year of experience. A masters degree in computer science or a related computer field may be substituted for one year of the required experience in (1) or (2) above. However, all candidates must have a four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent, plus at least one (1) year of satisfactory full-time software experience in a project leader capacity or as a major contributor on a complex project.
