    Job description: Busy primary doctor office in Warren & Summit looking for an energetic, positive attitude person in full-time position as certified CMA. Must be certified with NCCT, AMT, CCMA, AAMA, or NHA. Computer skills necessary, EPIC EHR a plus. Perform procedures under supervision of healthcare physician. Escort patients to exam rooms, measure vital signs including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc. and document all information in patient’s chart. Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician Ensure all related reports, labs and information is filed and is available in patients’ medical records prior to their appointment. Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments as required. Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy calls. Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to physicians. Maintain all logs and required checks (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, emergency medications, expired medications, etc.) Enter patients at front desk, including collection of copays, signing in and signing out of patient in the medical office and closing the day. Acquire pre-certifications for procedures and medications. All other duties as assigned by clinical coordinator or practice administrator.
