General Description: Reporting to the Dean of Clinical Education/Assistant Dean of Clinical Education, the Faculty Clinician is responsible to supervise and work with clinical students to provide quality patient care and complete required documentation for both patient care and student education. The position is an appointment requiring service to the College divided among teaching, research and scholarly activity, and citizenship in a manner that promotes continuity and equality among faculty, staff and students. Organizational Relationships: • Responsible to the Dean of Clinical Education/Assistant Dean of Clinical Education., • Works closely with health center faculty, staff and students. General Responsibilities: The faculty consists of all individuals in the employ of Northeast holding academic rank and engaged in instructional, scholarly and professional, or academic service activities for the College. These activities include, but are not limited to: laboratory, classroom, online, and health center instruction; work of professional librarians; course and curriculum development; research; participation in student advising, enrollment management functions, College governance; and service to one’s profession.
