About the Opportunity We are a staffing agency seeking an experienced Paint Chemist to join a fast-paced and innovative manufacturing team in Yonkers, NY. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in polymers, coatings, inks, and paint formulations to support product development, testing, and improvement of high-performance coatings. This is a direct-hire opportunity with competitive pay and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Key Responsibilities * Develop, test, and optimize paint, coatings, and polymer formulations. * Conduct laboratory analysis on raw materials and finished products. * Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines. * Collaborate with production teams to scale lab formulations to manufacturing. * Troubleshoot performance issues and recommend technical solutions. * Maintain accurate records of experiments, formulations, and results. * Other operational duties as needed. Qualifications * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in paint, coatings, polymers, or ink formulation. * Strong knowledge of raw materials, additives, and application techniques. * Ability to operate and interpret results from lab testing equipment. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
