Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY The PCA Trainer works in conjunction with and provides individual hands-on training in service delivery to Health Care Associates (HCA’s), Patient Care Associates (PCA’s) and other clinical support staff. Creates training schedules and conducts staff sign offs. Observes work of clinical support staff to determine individual needs to improve level of proficiency in various aspects of responsibilities in need of improvement. PCA trainer is expected to float to NYC locations as needed for training purposes. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Training (50%) • Provides “hands on” training in service delivery at each of the Centers., • As required, works with individuals to improve level of proficiency in various aspectsof responsibilities in need of improvement., • Assists with chart audits and clinical support staff observations on a quarterly basis.
