Job Description Fitter/Tailor: NYC, Long Island, NY, Hoboken, NJ & Greenwich, CT alts | Alteration Specialists is looking for a Fitter/Tailor We are looking for a dynamic professional Fitter/Tailor, distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include fittings, sewing on the machine, building client relationships and supporting the tailor shop manager. This is a full time role in New York City, Brooklyn, Long Island, Hoboken, NJ and Greenwich,CT with salary, full benefits, and opportunities for future growth. Responsibilities Client Relationship Management and Fittings • Maintain a professional, warm, welcoming studio environment, • Conduct Fittings according to the Alteration Specialists Standard, • Build relationships with clients, influencers, brands and stylists, • Demonstrate that you are meeting personal production targets, • Constantly be evaluating processes that are not efficient and come up with solutions to better optimize our organization, • Inform front desk of all re-alterations, • You are a skilled communicator. You’re both a great listener and an effective speaker and writer. You treat sensitive information with respect and discretion., • You are respectful, compassionate, and empathic. A Government Proposal Writer is responsible for developing, writing, and submitting compelling and compliant proposals in response to government solicitations (e.g., Requests for Proposals or RFPs). The writer works with internal teams, subject matter experts (SMEs), and business development staff to produce high-quality, persuasive documents that meet strict deadlines and complex regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: • Analysis and planning: Analyze government solicitations (RFPs, RFQs, etc.) and related documents to understand requirements, evaluation criteria, and deadlines. Develop proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and writing plans., • Content development: Write and edit various proposal sections, such as the executive summary, technical approach, past performance, and management plan. Synthesize complex information from multiple sources into a clear and compelling narrative., • Collaboration: Work with SMEs to gather information and translate technical concepts into persuasive, easy-to-understand language. Coordinate with the contracts and pricing teams to ensure proposal accuracy., • Compliance and quality control: Ensure proposals strictly adhere to all government regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Perform final edits, proofreads, and quality control checks for grammar, consistency, and formatting., • Management and coordination: Manage proposal schedules and deliverables to meet all submission deadlines.
