Job DescriptionJob Title: Packaging - QualityJob Description We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to ensure the quality of our packaging process. This role involves weighing finished products, documenting discarded components, preparing and inspecting shipments, filling cartons, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards. Responsibilities • Weigh finished products to detect any missing components., • Clear line culls and document all components discarded., • Prepare shippers, inspect finished product, and package into shippers. Seal, label, and stack shippers., • Fill cartons, carriers, or shippers by hand with product, labels, literature, or applicators., • Perform cleaning tasks on machines during or after operation., • Maintain compliance with SOPs, good documentation practices (GDP), training requirements, company and safety policies, and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs)., • Experience in pharmaceutical packaging and machine operation., • Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)., • High school diploma or GED. Initially, work on the 1st shift (6:45 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) for 4 weeks of training. Post-training, you will be assigned to the 2nd shift (3 p.m. – 11:45 p.m.) or the 3rd shift (10:30 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.) based on availability. The work environment includes a 45-minute lunch break and two 15-minute breaks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Hicksville, New York. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
