We are seeking an experienced and creative Bartender. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to customers in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. The role includes mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring a high standard of customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Key Responsibilities: Drink Preparation and Service: Prepare and serve drinks in accordance with recipes and customer preferences. Provide recommendations and suggestions on drink selections. Ensure the bar is fully stocked with all necessary supplies and ingredients. Maintain an updated knowledge of drink trends, new products, and menu changes. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and engage in conversation to create a welcoming atmosphere. Take and serve drink orders promptly and accurately. Handle payments and operate the POS system efficiently. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. Bar Maintenance: Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and presentable at all times. Restock bar supplies as needed and conduct regular inventory checks. Wash and sanitise glassware, utensils and bar equipment. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and alcohol service guidelines. Team Collaboration: Work closely with manager and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service. Assist in training new staff members as needed. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment. Compliance: Verify the age of customers and ensure no underage drinking occurs. Follow all local and legal laws regarding alcohol service. Comply with all company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Previous bartending experience is required. Strong knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be at least 18 years old. Certification in Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) or equivalent is a plus. Working conditions Ability to stand for extended periods. Será el responsable de realizar de manera cualificada las funciones de control, realización y supervisión de la operativa y calidad de la cocina en el turno establecido bajo la dirección del Chef Ejecutivo, aplicando en todo momento las normas y prácticas de seguridad e higiene vigentes en la empresa. FUNCIONES ESENCIALES •Conocimiento completo de todos los elementos del menú, sus recetas, métodos de producción y estándares de presentación. •Colaborar en la instrucción del personal a su cargo, así como en su desarrollo. •Asignar las tareas necesarias al personal de cocina para el correcto funcionamiento de la misma. •Planificación de menús y cartas, bajo la supervisión del Chef Ejecutivo en el control de costes de alimentos. •Colaborar en la gestión y realización de inventarios. Así como en la consecución de los objetivos financieros del departamento de cocina y en general F&B. •Controlar y gestión sobre los par stocks establecidos en cocina, asegurando que los productos estén en un grado óptimo de conservación. •Seguimiento y control de las instalaciones y de la maquinaria. •Mantener un estrecho contacto con el resto del equipo de cocina con el fin de garantizar un buen servicio y ambiente de trabajo. •Realizar una comunicación fluida con los huéspedes del hotel, realizando una función de control sobre la calidad gastronómica ofrecida en cada uno de los outlets. FORMACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA •2 años de experiencia mínima como Executive Sous Chef en Hotel de 5* . •F.P. 2 grado en Técnico de cocina o similar. •Valorable experiencia internacional en Hoteles 5* y/o Restaurantes fine-dining. •Conocimiento y experiencia culinaria demostrable con estilos de Middle-East. •Valorable conocimiento sobre nuevas tendencias gastronómicas. •Experiencia gestionando cuentas de explotación, capacidad de análisis y seguimiento de objetivos financieros marcados por la empresa. •Gestión de Payroll. •Cursos formativos de escuela de Hostelería y/o alta cocina serán un valor añadido.
