Company Description We are looking for an unflappable, confident Night Manager to join us. You’ll be responsible for leading a team that makes sure our guest experience never flags – even at night. Process all check-outs including express check-outs, resolving any late and disputed charges, settling account, retrieving room key, and requesting comments on guest's stay. Accommodate requests for room changes when possible. Communicate to appropriate staff that there are guests that are waiting for an available room. Verify and adjust billing for guests. Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in according to their requirements (i.e., sharewiths, separate room/tax/incidentals, comp). Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible. Ask for and enter Marriott Rewards information (e.g., number, name, address) when taking reservation or checking guest in. Advise guest of any messages (e.g., voicemail, mail, faxes) received for them, and send to room if required. Keep track of changes in room status (e.g., early check-out, late check-out, room transfer, unexpected stay over) for Housekeeping. Greet/Escort Guests Supply guests/residents with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities. Your Responsibilities: - Administrative Support: Manage documentation, keep records updated, and assist in preparing operational reports. - Operational Execution: Implement plans, monitor progress, and ensure tasks are completed on time. - Customer Interaction: Handle check-ins/outs, provide guest assistance, and share local information. - Team Coordination: Support task distribution, supervise on-site activities, and assist with training new employees. - Communication: Relay guidelines, report incidents, and ensure clear staff coordination. - Logistics: Manage supplies, transport equipment, and support overall site needs. What do you bring to your trip - Degree in Tourism or a related field. - Minimum 2 years of experience in the Tourism sector. - Native Spanish and professional-level English. - Monday to Friday 9h-18h - Driver's license: A license/125 Motorcycle. - Good level of computer skills. - Willingness to take on challenges in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. - Self-starter, creative, thinking outside the box, and willing to support expansion in a fast-growing environment. - Passionate, proactive, hands-on, dynamic, and energetic. - Flexible, resilient, and adaptable to changes. - Confident working in cross-functional teams. - Comfortable in a start-up environment. Desde Flax&Kale estamos buscando un Host/Hostess para nuestro restaurante en el centro de Barcelona. Necesitamos a una persona amigable, profesional y organizada para unirse a nuestro equipo. Como Host, serás la primera cara que los clientes verán al llegar al restaurante, por lo que tu rol es clave para crear una excelente primera impresión y garantizar una experiencia positiva desde el momento en que entran. ¿Qué harás en tu día a día? - Recibir a los clientes con una actitud cálida y amigable, asegurando una bienvenida cordial. - Gestionar las reservas, asignando las mesas de acuerdo con las preferencias de los clientes y la disponibilidad del restaurante. - Acompañar a los clientes a sus mesas, asegurándote de que estén cómodos. - Coordinar con el personal de servicio para garantizar que las mesas estén listas y los clientes sean atendidos a tiempo. - Mantener un registro organizado de las reservas y los tiempos de espera. - Responder a consultas sobre el menú, horarios y otros servicios del restaurante. - Gestionar el flujo de entrada de los clientes, optimizando la eficiencia del espacio en el restaurante. - Resolver cualquier inconveniente o solicitud especial de los clientes de manera profesional y eficaz. - Asegurarse de que las áreas comunes del restaurante estén limpias y bien presentadas. - Trabajar en estrecha colaboración con el equipo de camareros y el personal de cocina para garantizar un servicio fluido y eficiente. - Realizar algunas tareas de camarero en momentos de necesidad por un alto volumen de trabajo. ¿Por qué ibas a trabajar tú en Flax&Kale? - Contrato indefinido. - Contrato 25 horas con posibilidad de aumentar jornada. - Remuneración: 1105€ brutos al mes + horas extraordinarias, festivos y propinas. - Horarios rotativos. - Dos días de descanso consecutivos a la semana. - Posibilidad real de promoción interna y de aumento de la jornada laboral ¿Qué necesitamos? - Experiencia previa de mínimo 6 meses como Host/Hostess. - Nivel intermedio de español y nivel avanzado de inglés. - Disponibilidad horaria de fin de semana. - Persona proactiva, amable y organizada orientada a la tarea. - Capacidad de autogestión y trabajo en equipo. - Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y trato al cliente. - Se valora conocimientos en comida vegetariana y/o vegana.
