We're looking for a young, travel-loving receptionist **The hostel: Located in the center of Barcelona, a young backpackers environment with people from all around the world. **The job: a young and friendly person who enjoys being attentive to others and always giving the best experience to all our guests. **What do you need? Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Being proactive, dynamic, and ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure. Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation systems. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic, and enjoying being in a backpacker environment. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. NIE, Seguridad Social Number, and Spanish bank account. **How is a work week like? It's 6 days of labor and the next 2 days off, which means that your days off are not going to be the same every week; this way, all the reception staff can have the same number of weekends off. Recepción y Atención al Cliente: -Recibir a los huéspedes de manera cordial y proporcionar información sobre los servicios del hotel. • Realizar el proceso de check-in y check-out de manera eficiente., • Atender llamadas telefónicas y responder consultas de los huéspedes. 2.Gestión de Reservas: • Gestionar y mantener el sistema de reservas del hotel., • Confirmar reservas, modificarlas según sea necesario y gestionar cancelaciones., • Manejo de Pagos y Facturación: 3.Información Turística: • Proporcionar información sobre lugares de interés, restaurantes locales y actividades turísticas., • Facilitar mapas y guías turísticas a los huéspedes. 4.Comunicación Interna: • Coordinar con otros departamentos del hotel para garantizar un servicio fluido., • Informar a la gerencia sobre problemas o situaciones especiales. 5.Manejo de Situaciones Problemáticas: -Resolver problemas y quejas de los huéspedes de manera efectiva y cortés. • Gestionar situaciones de emergencia y notificar a los departamentos pertinentes según sea necesario. 6.Tareas Administrativas: -Mantener registros precisos de la ocupación del hotel y otras estadísticas relevantes. -Realizar tareas administrativas como archivar documentos y completar informes diarios. Requisitos: 1.Experiencia previa en recepción de hotel. 2.Habilidades de comunicación excepcionales. 3.Conocimientos básicos de software de gestión hotelera. 4.Capacidad para manejar situaciones difíciles con calma y profesionalismo. 5.Orientación al cliente y atención al detalle. 6.Disponibilidad para trabajar en turnos rotativos y fines de semana.
