ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contact all Suite and Bungalow guests before their arrival to assist them preparing for their stay.
Make bookings and coordinate guest itineraries.
Recommend all outlets of the hotel to maximize hotel revenue.
Build relationships with local vendors to ensure our VIP guests receive the best service all around the island.
Coordinate guests’ arrival amenities and personal touches throughout their stay.
Greet guests upon arrival and be their point of contact throughout their stay.
Identify and resolve all guest opportunities to their satisfaction.
Provide a fond farewell to all guests and ensure they had a memorable stay.
$9.75 per hour + Gratuity range 10$/12$ per hour + tips

Hospitality degree is preferred
1+ years of experience as a VIP Concierge or Guest Relations coordinator in a luxury resort
Ability to adapt to constantly changing situations and personalities of guests, ensuring quality service to all guests. Maintain decorum in stressful situations.
Proficiency with MSFT Office
Familiar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter in information accurately. Opera, Alice and HOTSOS
This position requires a flexible schedule, must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

About the job POSITION SUMMARY Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key. Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit. Process all check-outs including resolving any late and disputed charges. Answer, record, and process all guest calls, messages, requests, questions, or concerns. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in. Communicate parking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff or valet staff as needed. Supply guests with directions and information regarding property and local areas of interest. Run daily reports (number of arrivals, departures), identify any special requests, and check reports for accuracy. Complete designated cashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cash guests' personal checks and traveler's checks. Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications. Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
