We are looking for a Middleware MQ Administration L3 Specialist to join our team for a multinational leader in the banking sector. Key Responsibilities: • Provide architectural expertise to drive change and improvement in technology and processes. • Contribute to the development of the MOM technology roadmap. • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends. • Work with Project Managers to define, design, document, and deploy new functionality for existing and new applications. • Collaborate with Application Developers in low-level diagnosis of ongoing issues. • Provide subject matter expertise on core technologies to business application teams. • Contribute to process and technology improvements across projects. • Respond to live production incidents and resolve technical issues to restore normal service. • Collaborate with technical and application teams to ensure incident resolution is controlled and effective. • Analyze major and critical incidents and recommend improvements to reduce recurrence. • Ensure all support activities are logged with comprehensive resolution details. • Ensure changes to production environments are planned, documented, and executed in a controlled manner. • Take responsibility for the quality and technical accuracy of changes. • Participate in change and problem management meetings to share updates and knowledge. Skills: Essential: • IBM MQ Series administration (3+ years). • High expertise in Linux environments (advanced user skills). • Automation and scripting capabilities; Ansible skills valued. • Basic infrastructure knowledge: operating systems, datacenters, networks, storage, etc. • Teamwork and collaborative skills to develop and deliver solutions. • Experience delivering strategic priorities within strict timelines. • Strong customer service orientation. Desirable: • Solace administration. • MeshIQ/Nastel administration. • Linux advanced skills. • Automation with Ansible. Valuable: • Experience in ITIL environments (Change control, Incident management, Requests). • Knowledge of Process & Quality management, Agile principles (SCRUM, Kanban). • Experience with tools such as ServiceNow and CyberArk.
