Job Title : Medical Director Therapeutic Dermatology Location : Barcelona, Spain - Hybrid Job Description Reporting to the VP Global Medical Strategy Head Therapeutic Dermatology, the Medical Director is responsible for the Nemolizumab Atopic Dermatitis & Prurigo Nodularis phase IV strategy and clinical leadership (60%), and medical leadership of the In-line Therapeutic Dermatology portfolio (40%). The ideal candidate must have deep disease area expertise, pharmacological and biological knowledge, extensive global medical affairs experience, and leadership skills. Experience in product launches and phase IV studies is essential. This role requires the ability to organize and communicate complex data effectively, align stakeholders, and set clear targets to achieve business and launch goals. The individual will also strengthen Galderma’s reputation in dermatology science and as a credible partner for healthcare providers and patient communities. Key Responsibilities • Represent medical affairs at the global cross-functional core team., • Identify evidence gaps and develop prioritized evidence generation plans for Nemolizumab and the portfolio., • Participate in the Evidence Generation Plan process, ensuring alignment across functions., • Support global and local strategies, strengthening Galderma’s footprint., • Ensure studies meet scientific and GCP standards., • Define priorities, milestones, and expectations for studies., • Maintain SOPs and develop trackers with KPIs., • Lead phase IV plans with external dermatology experts., • Ensure scientific integrity and relationships with healthcare providers and patient groups., • Ensure a patient-centric approach in clinical trials., • Define 'No Go / Go' areas for Nemolizumab and portfolio., • Align evidence plans with publication and congress strategies., • Build site engagement studies and community networks., • MD, PhD, or PharmD with +10 years Pharma experience in Medical Affairs., • Product launch experience, ideally with advanced therapies or biologics., • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Dermatology preferred., • Proven record in medical strategy development and execution., • Knowledge of drug development phases, regulatory, and lifecycle management., • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills., • Global mindset with local adaptability., • Experience building KOL networks and engagement strategies., • Experience in international, matrix organizations., • Fluent in English; excellent communication and presentation skills., • Ability to handle ambiguity and confidentiality professionally., • Strong ethical standards; understanding of global and local standards.
