A vacancy for a Domain Architect has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe (Madrid). The Architect will join our Architecture Delivery team within the Digital Organization. You will be part of a team defining and designing architecture in the frame of our digital roadmap. Within the Transversal Architecture team, you will be involved in the strategy definition and in the architecture design activities for complex & strategic digital solutions. You will have the opportunity to contribute in various technological & functional areas: • At Transversal PSL, we drive change and support transformation in Extended Enterprise, Collaboration, DMS & Archiving, and Service Management., • At Corporate Functions PSL we focus on Finance, Portfolio & PM, HR & Security, Marketing & Sales, Facility Management, and Subsidiary & M&A projects., • At Service Solutions & Air Power PSL, we are dedicated to Air Power and Program initiatives, Support Center systems like Customer Care and Portals, Material Services, and Operator solutions. Responsibilities • Acts as visionary to proactively assist in defining the direction for future domain‑specific IT Products & Services and validate product designs., • Collaborates with all other digital and business stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions using innovative technologies., • Participates in all phases of the solution development life cycle including research and design, development, testing, implementation and support., • Aligns architecture strategy with the organization's business goals and long‑term strategic planning for the organization's Information systems., • Designs the technical/functional architecture of the application following standard architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Archimate), aligned with security requirements and using modelling tools & methodology. Skills • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field., • 5+ years of experience as IT/Solution Architect (functional/technical) with a focus on security, compliance, robustness, scalability and availability., • Strong experience in one or more technical fields: Advanced Analytics & AI, data‑centric platforms, Cloud Architecture, IT Infrastructure, Network, Security, ECM, CRM., • Proven track record in one or more domains: Enterprise Solutions, Collaborative Work Environments, Service & Support Management, Digital Transformation., • Experience in architecture modeling tools & methodologies (e.g., Sparx Enterprise Architect, Archimate, TOGAF)., • Advanced level in English.
