In Europe, we operate in 9 production plants across 7 countries and serve customers in the entire EMEA region. Regional Quality Manager - Europe Location: Castellbisbal (Barcelona) Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, Europe and working closely with both local plant teams and external partners, the role will play a pivotal role in defining, developing, establishing and maintaining the Potters’ Quality Plan. This includes quality programs, policies, procedures and controls, for ensuring high quality standards in both our products and processes. Responsibilities: 1.- Quality programs & policies: • Harmonize QC programs and policies across the region. Identify best practices from different locations and integrate them into the Regional Quality Plan., • Standardize specifications for the quality of our products: grades, coating formulations, etc., • Optimize QC processes across the region and drive continuous improvement initiatives, in collaboration with cross-functional teams., • Develop new QC tests and assessment methods for our manufactured products, ensuring adherence to industry standard and customer requirements., • Implement standardized systems for suppliers’ quality control., • Work closely with Operations to improve product testing and reporting in the production lines, ensuring accuracy and consistency., • Ensure proper and homogeneous reporting on product quality and performance., • Define, implement and follow-up on Quality KPIs to effectively measure performance of the organization., • Lead resolution of quality issues across sites and provide expert support to Operations. 2.- Quality Management System and customer support: • Manage necessary Quality process, documentation and reporting for the ISO standards: ISO 9001 – ISO 14011 – ISO 50001., • Have responsibility and authority for maintaining the corporate group ISO standards for all Europe plants., • Take responsibility for QMS activities such as but not limited to the following: setting the internal and external audit schedules, ensuring each location is within conformance and maintaining QMS systems., • Monitor established quality objectives., • Track and identify areas where Customer Satisfaction can be improved; provide expert support to other areas like Customer Service and Sales teams to reduce customer complaints. Qualifications and experience: • University degree or professional diploma in Scientific field (chemical, mechanical)., • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality managerial positions, coming from glass industry or similar and ideally within international environment., • Extensive experience with verifiable accomplishments in manufacturing environments., • Technical knowledge and practical experience in quality assurance, including testing equipment, and ISO standards., • Proficient in Spanish and English. French is a great plus., • Ability to work across all functions and levels of the organization., • Excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities., • Availability to travel (25%), mostly in European plants and customers’ premises.
