As a Fixed Asset Accountant , Volotea – airline serving small and mid‑size European cities – you’ll ensure the accuracy and reliability of our non‑current assets and maintenance‑related accounting under IFRS , playing a key role in financial reporting and control. You’ll work in a high‑volume, detail‑driven environment, ensuring that assets are properly recorded, monitored, and aligned with accounting standards, while continuously improving processes and data quality. Responsibilities Ensure the accurate recording and control of fixed assets, including capitalization, depreciation, and useful life review. Manage and monitor maintenance‑related accounting under IFRS, ensuring all entries are complete and correctly recorded. Validate that transactions are posted in the correct general ledger accounts. Perform monthly closings, reconciliations, and reporting related to fixed assets. Ensure proper application of accounting policies (PGC and IFRS). Monitor and improve controls and procedures to enhance data accuracy and reliability. Collaborate with Internal Control to strengthen reporting and processes. Support audit activities, ensuring documentation and records are accurate and complete. Qualifications Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. 4+ years of experience in accounting, audit, or consulting. Strong knowledge of local GAAP (PGC); familiarity with IFRS is a plus. Advanced Excel skills and English level. Detail‑oriented, structured, and comfortable working with large volumes of data. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Proactive mindset with interest in process improvement.
