We are currently undergoing significant international expansion and are seeking top‑tier engineering talent to join our team. /p pWe are seeking a bSenior Gun Barrel Design Expert /b to spearhead the design, metallurgical simulation, and manufacturing optimization of our next‑generation barrel systems. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul libAdvanced Design: /b Lead the 3D CAD modeling of barrels for handguns, precision rifles, and automatic weapon systems. /li libPhysics Simulation: /b Perform finite element analysis (FEA) for thermomechanical stress, gas expansion pressures, and metal fatigue under extreme operating conditions. /li libMaterials Engineering: /b Select and validate steels (carbon, stainless, exotic alloys) and next‑gen coatings to mitigate barrel erosion and corrosion. /li libManufacturing Supervision: /b Optimize mass and precision production processes, including button rifling, cold hammer forging, broaching, and ultra‑precision honing. /li libTesting Failure Analysis: /b Design ballistic test protocols and conduct forensic metallurgical analysis on barrels that fail proof‑load or endurance testing. /li libRegulatory Compliance: /b Ensure all designs strictly adhere to military standards and international arms manufacturing laws. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul libEducation: /b Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. with a focus on ballistics or metallurgy is highly preferred. /li libExperience: /b Minimum 5 years of direct experience in barrel design or critical firearm component engineering within the defense sector or precision competitive shooting industry. /li libSoftware Proficiency: /b Expert mastery of CAD platforms (Siemens NX, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA) and advanced simulation software (ANSYS, ABAQUS). /li libAdvanced Technical Knowledge: /b Deep understanding of compressible fluid dynamics, steel metallurgy, heat treatment processes, and industrial metrology. /li libSoft Skills: /b Ability to mentor junior engineers and effectively communicate across cross‑functional teams, from RD to the machine shop floor. /li /ul h3Employment Conditions /h3 ul libLocation: /b Availability to work in any of these three locations: Madrid, Cordoba, or Seville. /li libContract Type: /b Permanent / Indefinite. /li libSalary: /b Competitive / Commensurate with experience. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
