The role supports the design and control of specific project elements under the supervision of a Project Manager, from concept through to completion, including design, budgeting, and resourcing activities. The position holds responsibility for electrical specifications and electrical integration within the project scope, provides project control and status reporting for small to medium scale projects, and delivers process support and technical advice to manufacturing sites within the sector. The role also directly supports Project Managers when working as part of a larger site‑based project team. /p pbKey Responsibilities Include: /b /p ul liOversee assigned project activities from start to completion within areas of electrical expertise, while working flexibly as part of a multi‑disciplinary project team /li liLiaise with Regional Project Managers, Plant Managers, and Plant Engineers to establish full project scope or identify root causes of technical issues /li liDesign and approve equipment layouts and generate electrical schematics using company‑standard drawing tools such as AutoCAD /li liGenerate electrical specifications and project‑specific criteria, working in conjunction with other members of the Ball Engineering group /li liLiaise with OEMs and contractors to ensure compliance with Ball specifications, standards, and project‑specific requirements /li liCoordinate with engineers, suppliers, and contractors to support the selection of suitable electrical components and systems /li liLiaise with functional teams and relevant local authorities to secure permits, permissions, and design approvals where required /li liObtain and evaluate competitive quotations from suppliers and contractors to ensure projects remain within approved budgets /li liParticipate in the selection of suitably qualified contractors and provide technical guidance during project implementation /li liPrepare and update equipment and electrical specifications and plant‑specific documentation /li liProvide commissioning support, including testing, start‑up, and debugging of equipment or systems until design efficiency is achieved /li liEnsure all drawings, documentation, and software are updated upon project completion and appropriately archived /li liApply knowledge of CE requirements and regulations specific to electrical installations /li /ul pbWhat We’re Looking For? /b /p ul liBroad training in a related engineering field, typically gained through college‑level education, graduate education, or relevant work‑related experience. /li liMinimum of 2 years’ related industry experience preferred. /li liKnowledge of electrical engineering principles and electrical project execution. /li liExperience with AutoCAD for layout and schematic generation. /li liPLC programming knowledge. /li liStrong computer skills, including the standard Microsoft Office suite. /li liAbility to work independently within management‑defined parameters and proactively drive tasks to completion. /li liStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams. /li liAbility to manage multiple tasks and small to medium scale projects simultaneously. /li liProfessional approach to confidentiality, ethics, and documentation control. /li /ul h3Work Environment /h3 pThis role supports central functions and offers flexible work arrangements including hybrid or fully remote options, subject to role requirements and manager approval. /p h3Hiring Range /h3 p59,25 0 – 85,320 EUR gross per year. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market benchmarks.
