About the Role: The Project Engineer will play a key role in delivering both day‑to‑day and long‑term engineering, technical, and regulatory support to the engineering department, working under the guidance of the Engineering Director. This position is responsible for leading engineering projects from concept to completion — including developing P&IDs and layout designs, coordinating and validating the work of external suppliers, ensuring adherence to project budgets, and managing all relevant documentation. Responsibilities: • Apply all current safety, quality, and environmental standards in every activity, ensuring full compliance from colleagues, internal teams, and external suppliers., • Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and output quality., • Evaluate processes, collect measurements, and interpret data to optimize the performance of existing facilities., • Prepare and review project proposals, studies, and technical reports., • Create, verify, and update P&IDs and facility layouts to ensure accurate implementation., • Maintain up‑to‑date P&IDs and layouts in line with the change management (MOC) procedure, and keep all archives current., • Coordinate all engineering and maintenance activities for new facilities, including regulatory inspections., • Serve as the primary contact for external suppliers regarding requirements, issues, and project activities., • Build and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders., • Oversee maintenance operations for new installations., • Recommend and implement technical or managerial improvements to resolve implementation issues, enhance performance, or reduce costs. About You: • Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field., • PMO certification., • Health & Safety qualification; Masters in Advanced Risk Prevention preferred., • Knowledge of chemical manufacturing, including GMP and GEP standards., • Understanding of ISO 9000, 14000, 50001, 45000, and FSCC 22000 management systems., • Continuous improvement certification, preferably Six Sigma Black Belt., • Experience managing and controlling operating costs (CAR budget)., • Familiarity with CMMS systems, particularly Infor EAM., • High level of English proficiency., • Proficient in AutoCAD applications.
